Ray oversees renovation and development execution for Vivid Capital. His responsibilities span design review, procurement, contracting, and construction, helping translate each property’s business plan into coordinated physical improvements.
Real estate development and construction experience
Ray’s construction background includes work with SiLa Developments on suburban infill, urban multifamily, and hotel projects. His hospitality experience began with his family’s first motel development in Williamson County in 2001. At Vivid Capital, his scope includes permitting, architectural and interior design review, construction contracts, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment procurement.
Engineering and business education
Ray earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. This combination informs his approach to design functionality and project costs, supported by relationships with architects, engineers, manufacturers, vendors, and city officials.
